Sarah Fluchs started her work as a research associate and doctoral sudent in May 2015 at the Center for International Automobile Management (CIAM) of the Research Unit for International Economics. She graduated in Economics from Maastricht University and University of Cologne.
Her research interest is the automotive industry, in particular the field of manufacturing strategy and supply chain management. Her current research focuses on electric mobility and political drivers of the market penetration of electric cars and its international comparison. In addition to her work at CIAM, she is employed at the Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University, which allows a contribution especially to the interdisciplinarity in the research of mobility.
Sarah Fluchs supervises the project modules "Innovative business models in mobility" (Master course, regularly in winter term) and "Strategies in e-mobility" (Master course, regularly in summer term). Besides, she supervises Bachelor and Master theses.
